The theoretical physics group of the Trieste Section is the largest among the INFN Sections, counting approximately 109 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) positions (autumn 2023). The members are primarily distributed across the following scientific institutions in Trieste: INFN, SISSA, and U. Trieste.
