In programma lunedì 29 settembre il seminario dal titolo "Studying the microscopic properties of the Quark Gluon Plasma with jets". Ospite la dott.ssa Leticia Cunqueiro (Università di Roma "La Sapienza”, ricercatrice CERN e INFN Roma) .
Sommario: I’ll discuss the status of the study of the microscopic properties of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) with CMS at the LHC using jets and their substructure, with focus on measurements using the Lund Jet Plane. We’ll discuss the searches for color coherence and Moliere scattering in the QGP as well as the possibility to use the dead cone to isolate QGP-induced signal.
