Colliding muon beams at multi-TeV energies offers both unprecedented precision in Standard Model measurements and discovery potential for new physics. Achieving this goal requires major technological advances in muon production, cooling, and acceleration, as well as in mitigating decay-induced backgrounds through innovative machine–detector and detector designs.
Speaker: Donatella Lucchesi (University of Padova and INFN) invited by Vieri Candelise (UniTS), Massimo Casarsa (INFN)
