Research
INFN research activities are organized in five national groups, working on different projects:
Particle physics
Also known as high energy physics.
It studies the fundamental components and interactions in the matter.
Astroparticle physics
Astroparticle physics and neutrino physics.
Theoretical physics
Developing theories and models to explain physics.
Technological research
It studies the application of the advanced technologies developed for physics experiments.
