It comes up in discussions with the CD about such products as SAM (which, as I think you hinted, will in its current form make the DB problem even worse). It's not clear to me that the principal developers have yet grasped the extent of the problem, or whether it should be solved with more than kludges. I think we're moving in the right direction, but we are continuing to work on that. No magic bullets yet. Jeff
